Kendriya Vidyalaya (Central School)

The KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN – a premier organization in India administering more than a thousand schools known as ”Kendriya Vidyalayas” announced the opening of another school at Sandhole. The classes started from 2015-16 session.

School started functioning from building of existing senior secondary school Sandhole. There have been a number of surveys to find the land for independent campus but still no development at ground zero. Neither Govt has allocated fund nor land for this institution.
State Cabinet in its meeting on 8th July ( No.673/2016-Pub) has given a new hope for this school. Approval was accorded to lease out the land in favour of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to make functional Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sandhol in district Mandi.

Much awaited, finally classes from 1st to 5th standard started functioning from Nov 2016 for the session 2016-17. The classes started for a portion taken from Senior Secondary School Sandhole. The Campus looking a little fresh with newly white wash and cleaniness. But it is still on the bank of Camp Khad.
New site has been identified at Govt Primary School and Seri Culture institute at Ghanala.

"A picture is worth a thousand words" is an English idiom and looking at the Entrace of this school, one can imagine the its state.

Anurag Thakur, honourable MP during its visit to Sandhole in Feb 2018, declared that construction of KV campus would start very soon.
