Sandhole has been so far not so lucky to have any college due to various reasons. A number of times efforts have been made to provide higher education at this place only. As a result a private college was established. Though this may not be as equiped as it should but has proved to be a boon to locals who cannot affort to go to other places.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Raja Virbhadra Singh’s first visit to Sandhole on 9th Dec 2013 after resuming a new term in year 2012 announced to open a government degree college at Sandhole and sanctioned Rs 5 crore for it. So It seems that dream of having a Govt college will be fullfilled very soon.

1. Araya Bhatta Govt Degree College Sandhole

The Govt Degree College has been finally opened and started operation from session 2014-15 as promised by CM in his last visit to Sandhole. College was allocated Rs5 crores but its own infrastructure is yet to be build. It has started functioning from the building of Govt Sr Secondary school. Many students has already taken admission but their future still seems to be hanging as college doesn’t have adequate teaching and administrative staff.

College has new campus building is Ready and soon it would functional.
