Lok Sabha Representation:

Till 2008 (Fourteenth Lok Sabha) Sandhole was the part of Mandi Parliamentary contituency. In the Fourteenth Lok Sabha Sandhole was represented by Smt. Pratibha Singh Cong(I), spouse of Shri Virbhadra Singh.

But after the delimitation process of 2008 Sandhole is the party of Hamirpur constituency.

Lok Sabha 2019-24 (Seventeenth Lok Sabha) - Mr Anurag Thakur of BJP

Anurag Thakur won the Hamirpur constituency for the fourth time by defeating Ram Lal Thakur of the Congress by nearly four lakh votes, a record margin for the constituency. Anurag Thakur had got a vote share of 69.04 per cent by bagging over 6.8 lakh votes.
Anurag was inducted in Modi 2.0 cabinet on 30th May as the Union Minister of State (MoS) for Finance & Corporate Affairs. Shri Thakur took the charge in the august presence of Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman.

Lok Sabha 2014-19 (Sixteenth Lok Sabha) - Mr Anurag Thakur of BJP, won third straight time.

Mr Anurag Thakur of BJP, son of Prem Kumar Dhumal has won the year 2009 election. Anurag Thakur defeated his nearest rival, Narinder Thakur of the Congress, son of Late Thakur Jagdev Chand by more than 72 thousand votes. This second consecutive win for him. He had also won the by-election in May 2008 by 174,666 votes, defeating Congress candidate O.P. Rattan.

Profile: Son of late Shri Bali Ram; born at Richhli, Distt. Mandi on 22nd February 1950 ; Under-Graduate; educated at Merrut (UP); married to Smt. Parmila Devi; one son and two daughters; Ex-Serviceman and Horticulturist. Involved in construction of temples and helping poor labours. Elected to State Legislative Assembly in February 1990 as an Independent; elected again in 1993 as Congress candidate, in 1998 on H.V.C. ticket, in 2003 as Lok Tantrik Morcha (H.P.) candidate, and in 2007 on B.J.P. ticket. He has a unique record of being elected to the Assembly in five consective electionss, on five different election symbols. He extended his record by winning this seat in year 2013 election for sixth time.
He continued his winning streak in 2017 retaining the same seat for record seventh time.

He was cabinets minister in the Prof Dhumal led BJP govt. He held the portfolio Transport department from 2009-2012. He also remained as a Cabinet Minister during his previous term 1998-2003 and held various portfolios including Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Excise and Taxation and PWD during the 1998 - 2001.
